I like quiet, peaceful mornings. Having them helps me set the pace of
my day. Even when I was working, I used these moment before my "angels"
came to class to calm myself for all that would happen during the day.
When I was young, I didn't understand the need for this time, all of I
knew was when foolishness happened in the morning, my day was a complete
mess. During these "spaces between moments," I talk to God and to
myself. In so doing, mountains become mole hills, scary thoughts are
reduced to their "native nothingness," and God helps me sort out the
reasons for whenever I am feeling, both good and bad. Lately, these are
times when my morning coffee reminds me of my parents and the wonderful
childhood I had. Is my life all good...No...but if it was, it would be
so boring... :-)
Have you taken a moment to give thanks to your Higher Power today?
I thank God:
- for awaking physcially and mentally sound
- for being able to smell
- for the beauty of the rising sun
- for not abandoning me
I
hope all of you have superbly blessed day. Never say to yourselves
that are not being blessed. There are blessings being supplied to you
in your every moment. If you don't think so, try to move your eyes
around in their sockets. Were you able to do it? SMILE, you have been
blessed!
"I have sometimes been wildly despairingly, acutely
miserable...but through it all I can still know quite certainly that
just to be alive is a grand thing." ~ Agatha Christie
