March 7, 2013

Good Morning, Everyone, I hope that your Thursday is chocked full of blessings and that you take a moment to acknowledge them to yourself.
The sun is shining and I am feeling wonderful. I am going to have my morning java soon - it is the moment that I spiritually share with my Mama and Daddy. Drinking that cup of coffee brings back those days with them no matter where I am when I drink it. The older I get the more I appreciate the blessing of being born to Vivian Annette Hutchinson and Warren James Hutchinson. :-)

I will be leaving home for the first time today, but it will be this evening. Fortunately, I will only be out in the air for a moment, but it will be a marvelous moment - FRESH AIR at last.

My niece has been taking yoga classes and the transformation and development of her into a young women has been exceptional. I have been following her Facebook page off and on since she moved to Chicago. Because of her, I am going to seriously pursue taking yoga classes. I have watched her change in so many positive ways and it is so gratifying and inspiring. She has become her own person; she has accepted being able to walk to the tune of different drummer without feeling a need to defend herself. Her father, my brother, is having a hard time handling her metamorphosis but both her aunts (my sister and I) are right in her corner. He doesn't understand how an artist thinks, but her aunts do.

Have a wonderful day, everyone, remember the universe is always awake and always watching.

Have you taken a moment to give thanks to your Higher Power, yet?

I thank God:
- for waking up with a smile on my face and in my heart
- for giving me to courage to step out of my comfort zone
- for healing me from this "gnarly" cold
- for all the wonderful people I have met on the Daily Challenge
- for a sunshiny morning
- for not forgetting about me

"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather." ~John Ruskin

God given words that have guided my life -

"When you have come to the end of all the light you know and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen. You will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly."
Edward Teller
