Gratitude

Have you taken a moment to give thanks to your Higher Power:

I thank God:
- for a working furnace
- for patience
- for being able to pray
- for my skull
- for not abandoning me

Those of you who are enduring the cold weather as we are, please keep yourselves safe. Make sure you don't leave your pets out too long. Make sure you spend as little outdoors as possible. I am airing out our home, so I have two windows open one in the front and one in the back and the air coming in is no joke! I cannot get any other windows to budge because they are iced. Is there a blessing in all of this somewhere? You bet there is. Do I know where they are? For me, I know of a few, but I have said them before in previous post about this weather. I will give one more. Some kind neighbor across the ally has twice used his snow remover to clear out snow from neighboring car garage openings. He has also done the front walks of some people as well. Twice the city plows push snow back on all his work and twice he went out to remove it. He didn't have to do that, but he did and that is a blessing. Considering that there doesn't appear to be a change in temperature, one of our school systems has announced schools being closed again tomorrow.

I hope everyone enjoys this weather as much as they can. It has come to us for a reason. Nothing in the universe is done for naught. It all happens for a purpose. Continue to send out as many positive vibrations as you can, the entire universe is in need of them. While I don't like looking at the news, from to time, I do. It is in those moments that I am reminded about the clash between what is right in the universe and what is wrong. I will do my best to be a positive force and not a negative one. I hope you try to do the same.

"Success comes in cans, failure in cant's." -Brahma Kumaris

God given words that have guided my life -

"When you have come to the end of all the light you know and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen. You will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly."
Edward Teller
