March 13

Good Evening, Everyone, did you have more 'feel good" moments today than "feel bad moments?' I hope so!

Today is one of those days when I am shown that God is with me. This day started off explosive, but I had no desire to be part of the battle. As a matter of fact I was so calm, I surprised
myself. There have been moments all day when the expectation from me was to "go off," but I had no desire to do that. I like my spiritual place. It is quiet and I feel balanced.

I have been participating in Depok Chopra's 21 day meditation challenge which centers on perfect health. I participated in the previous challenge which centered on abundance. Meditating is becoming easier and easier. Pretty soon I will start taking yoga classes. All of these practices are leading me to a closer connection with God and therefore with myself.

My bible study class is also helping me onf my journey. Every time I go, more and more of what the Christian journey is about is revealed to me. It is as simple as it is complicated.

Have you taken a moment to give thanks to your Higher Power today? If you haven't, now is a good time.

I thank God:
- for a feeling stronger and more forward moving than patience
- for edging me in simplifying my home
- for taking the steam out of a potential battle
- for blessing with more spiritual gifts than I knew I needed
- for not forgetting about me

The day is drawing to an end. Many of us will be settling down for moments to relax and review all the wonderful blessings we have had today. Doing so, will bring us spiritual comfort; it will relax our brains, and, if our attitudes are right, we will do a lot more smiling than frowning.

God given words that have guided my life -

"When you have come to the end of all the light you know and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen. You will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly."
